VPR Cast#28: “Enter… WAR Genius!”

Welcome to our 28th cast at mmoSmacktalk.com! Vince spins big cheese and brings in the cast. Ryan is late, and Peter is absent. Many topics covered in Warhammer and some darkfall discussion as well. Strap in, strap on, and learn about a WAR genius.

1st Segment: When you write a moral check, don’t be surprised if it’s denied. WoW, morale, pal, Palin, JOe the Plumber, and Paul. The warrior priest is disussed.

2nd Segment: The topic of tactics changing in combat is concluded. Ben questions things that shouldn’t be questioned. Suffice it to say, he’s lucky Ryan isn’t there. Paul… speak into the mic, son!

3rd Segment: Ryan bites into Ben. Kids, don’t listen. Too many bombs are dropped. Ben tells us about his nasty need to dual box or not play at all. The boys drop some smack on Mac. The MMO Imagineers™ get cracking again with another new idea… at least to Ryan.

4th Segment: Another long ass segment ensues. Kicks off with wrapping up Ben’s thoughts, if you can call them that :D, about WAR’s two new classes. Somehow Witch Elves rule. We review one of the latest Darkfallonline.com preview videos from the Athen’s Digital Event. Looks like the sound from the link was too loud, so we are very faint in the background. Thanks… Vince! 😀 Ben and Ryan wrap up the segment with a painfully prolonged discussion of some DFO theories on tactics, weapons, and magic.

  1. Haha dam, yeah I had the music too high for one part on that 4th segment, the Darkfall part fo sho’

  2. Great coverage of Darkfall i forget who was talking about OH NOES I LOST MY GOD ITEM thats not fun… the thing is that unlike WoW and WAR Items aren’t the deciding factor in this game it tactics however… the best items in the game are player crafted… If you lose your top of the line player crafted item and you dont have a super crafter in your guild sorry your loss… maybe you should have tried to be a great crafter to make up for that. So its all about getting out of the mind set of WoW (i dont wanna lose my godly t5 weapon) cause its not about that… great games to play for practice are PVKII
Mount And Blade… one game that was a great FPS MMO and player looting that you didn’t mention would be Asheron’s Call… where they have said they took the fighting mechanics from
