  1. I may have to listen to this cast, too much of a Darkfail overload in the several that you pumped out with in the last few weeks. She is like what the one female to play DFO. LOL

  2. @IHM: dick. There’s more to it. I just didnt want to side track the convo too deeply. However, I do ack that this supports your claim – to an extent.

    @Yak: 1 of 2. :)

  3. @Ryan – Listened to the whole thing last night. Pretty good, but one of the reasons I played Darkfall to begin with was the promise that ships would have more utility than just the musings of wealthy people. They might was well call it yacht combat because the entry point is stupid-high.

    @SnowWhite – Nobody believes you’re a girl. #voicemodulator

  4. @Ryan – The beautiful thing about being an adult is realizing how inexpensive gaming really is. I’ll probably end up playing because there really isn’t anything else. I don’t like Orks, Coolit. Can’t we be Dwarf ‘n Beans? 😀

  5. @Miguelito: Now that I know all cities can be entered into by any race, I’ll probably stick to Alfar. Join me there? We can hook up with, and stomp our Orc contingent later.

  6. @Mig: I think I’m just more partial to the Alfar zones… humans to the right, elves to the left.

    @Coolit: I dont want to break the plan. I only thought of going Alfar since you informed me that all races can enter all cities.

  7. @Ryan – Not that it really matters, since effectively all races are ‘allied’.

    @Coolit – Orks have always been extremely easy to spot. Being that I enjoy sneaking around, it just seems like a weird option.

  8. @Coolit – I watched a video of you beating Ryan’s ass over and over. Chivalry looks almost exactly like M&B with smaller scale combat.

  9. @ Hackers in the beginning of DF: It was ridiculous. For the first few months of the game, I had people sticky backing me (the hack, not the ‘skilled play’ the term is commonly used for), people teleporting on top of a mob I just killed and looting it and then teleporting out. People up and flying away when I’d get them low, etc. I even had a guy who would fly around and shoot at me with his bow from 20-200 feet in the air. This shit is exactly what lead to me trying out the hacks. Thank god it finally died down though, and obviously I quit using them.. but ya, it was a weird phase in the game. It was definitely a hack or be hacked.

    And for people saying they didn’t see it, you must have been farming goblins. Because every high-tier player I knew had experienced it many many times. (ie go read about Baradron (sp?) spawn early in the game on EU-1)
